Thick fog and a very confused cow are being blamed for a 15 car accident on Quebec's highway 40.
The fog was so thick yesterday in the Mauricie area that several cars ended up crashing into each other on Thursday morning.
One of the accidents involved a truck that was transporting cows and after the crash one of the cows managed to escape and stretch wandering around on the highway which resulted in a few more crashes.
"L'animal, en plus du brouillard, a causé plusieurs carambolages. Prudence sur les routes!"
By then end 15 vehicles had crashed into each other, luckily no one was serious injured.
At least 15 vehicles were involved in the collisions, though Sûreté du Québec says there were no serious injuries.
