Environment Canada Says Montreal Will Experience A "Tropical Heat Event" Next Week
It's going to be magical!
Montreal's weather hasn't exactly been spectacular lately.
It's still pretty cold in the morning, it rains at least once every two days and when the sun finally comes, it's usually too humid to enjoy.
But next week, Montreal is going to experience something that has never happened here before, TROPICAL WEATHER!
That's right, Environment Canada released a special weather statement on Thursday at 5:26 am for Châteauguay, La Prairie, Laval, Longueuil Varennes and Montreal.
They're saying a warm and humid mass is headed our way, which will bring 35°C temperatures and the perfect blend of humidity. For the first time ever, they are describing this heatwave as a "tropical heat event".
So it's time to find beach, get yourself a brightly colored shirt, and start drinking booze out of a pineapple, because Montreal will soon be a tropical island destination.
Just don't celebrate too soon, because we are also expecting dangerous heat warnings by next week.
