The FDA has officially voted in favor of recommending 'Flibanserin' to undergo approval tests according to USA Today. The drug has been referred to as Female Viagra for one simple reason, it is meant to make women horny.

That's right, women who want to have sex but just aren't that into it mentally will now have a pill they can pop to boost their desire and improve their libido.

Though it's been named female Viagra, it doesn't have anything in common with it. Viagra works by increasing blood flow to the penis in order to cause an erection. Flibanserin on the other hand, works by increasing the dopamine and norepinephrine levels in the brain. And everyone knows the most important sex organ is the brain.

The drug will not be available over the counter, (so no one will be able to slip it into your drink at a bar ... we hope) it would only be available if it is prescribed by a doctor in cases where women are suffering from a low sex drive.
