The more the temprature drops in Montreal, the more I crave starchy and carb-loaded foods. I'm positive I'm not the only one who experiences this very normal response to cold winter weather; because to survive in this frozen country, you gotta put on a few pounds.
TL;DR Montreal just got an all-new classic wood-fire stove pizza spot Fugazzi Pizza. Located at 1886 Centre street in Pointe-Saint-Charles, it's open everyday from 5pm-11pm with the exception of Friday and Saturday, when they are open between 6pm and midnight.
Thank god that there is no shortage of warm and comforting winter foods in Montreal. One type of food that will always be a winter comfort staple is pizza — and good news, Montreal just got an all-new pizza spot!
Fugazzi Pizza, located in the blossoming neighbourhood of Pointe-Saint-Charles, has already created a lot of buzz on the streets since its opening earlier this month.
Brought to you by the owners of popular Saint-Henri spot Foiegwa, Fugazzi Pizza just opened its doors to the public, and the eclectic, playful, yet cozy atmosphere and decor have quickly gotten people talking.
Fun decor aside, the pizza is the main attraction. Rustic Italian wood-fire stove pizza, made fresh with care and attention, and baked to perfection for maximum flavour.
On their small but tasteful menu, you can choose from nine pizzas, including classic pies such as a marinara and a white pizza with mushrooms they call "Mushpit."
If pizza isn't your thing, their menu also features five homemade pasta dishes (yes, more carbs please!), along with several other comforting and classic sides and appetizers like mozerella sticks and Caesar salad.
Here are the mouth-watering pics uploaded to their Instagram page this week!
