You ever seem one of those giant oversize icicles hanging off the roof of the building. Of course you have, this is Montreal.
But I always wonder how much damaged those things would actually do if they fell.
It turns out the answer is: a fuck load.
Carol Schell was watching TV in her house when she heard a crashing noise. That's when she found a giant ice spike sticking through the roof of her house.
The chunk was so big and heavy that it managed to slice right through the roof of the house and embedded itself in the ceiling of Carol Schell's bathroom.
Luckily the chunk wasn't any bigger, and it didn't fall from a higher distance, otherwise the damage could have been much worse.
