Montreal may not have won a Stanley Cup since 1993, but that doesn't stop them from being one of the most valuable Hockey teams in the world.
Last year, Montreal was one of only 3 hockey teams to ever pass the $1 Billion valuation. And this year, we took the 2nd spot on the list.
To put that into perspective, we are juts a few hundred thousand dollars short of the world 50 most valuable sports franchises in the world.
So how much are the Habs worth?
According to Forbes, the Montreal Canadiens are worth $1.12 Billion dollars, which means we've jumped up one spot from last years' ranking.
Montreal's fans are so die-hard that every single home game has been sold out since 2004.
The only hockey team worth more was the New York Rangers at $1.25 Billion.
