Potterheads rejoice! While the story of the boy wizard we all know and love came to an end with the Deathly Hallows, J.K. Rowling still has stores of magical tales in her head, and we are lucky that she continues to share them with us.
As early as next month we will be able to read four new stories from the wizarding world of Harry Potter that will let us "delve deeper into the rich history of magic," we came to know and love via Harry and co., according to the Daily Mail.
The stories will focus on lessons that Harry and friends learned while they were at Hogwarts - lessons like Defense Against the Dark Arts and Potions.
The announcement comes via the online Harry Potter hub, Pottermore, that promises magical delight through these four, non-fiction books put together by Rowling herself.
The titles are as follows:
Harry Potter: A Journey Through A History of Magic
Harry Potter: A Journey Through Potions & Herbology
Harry Potter: A Journey Through Care of Magical Creatures
Harry Potter: A Journey Through Divination and Astronomy
The books, which are being published by Pottermore, are being released as eBooks and the first two will be available as early as June 27th!
A Journey Through Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts as well as A Journey Through Potions and Herbology will both be released on June 27th and the others are slated to "follow soon after," according to Pottermore.
The stories will be released in English, French, Italian and German to begin, but if the HP series is any indication, they'll likely be in hundreds of languages before long. I hope they release paper copies, too!
