Fall is a time for beautiful scenic walks, picnics in the park, strolling around with bae, or grabbing a PSL and getting cozy under a blanket.
Fall is also a time for all things Halloween- everything from dressing up, haunted corn mazes, pumpkin picking, and movies. There are the "cute" Halloween movies like Casper, Hocus Pocus, and Monster House.
But for those like myself, who love to be scared- there's another genre of Halloween movies.
Yes, I'm talking about the terrifying, sometimes gruesome, leave you on-the-edge-of-your-seat scary movies.
I find Halloween the best time to celebrate and watch these wonderfully petrifying movies.
If you love Netflix, then you have to watch the insanely scary zombie apocalyspe movie Train To Busan.
What makes this film is even more terrifying because the helpless victims are confined to a train, while flesh-eating monsters try to feed their appetite.
If you're looking to do something a little different, then I have just the event for you! The 17th annual Spasm Film Festival is back, running from October 18th-27th.
Enjoy a night of being scared to death- with spine-chilling short films from Quebec and around the world, at Club Soda.
In the meantime check out a previous film that was showcased at this event!
You'll feel relieved that these nerve-racking films are so short!
