Giant supermalls can be a little daunting. Sometimes all of the capitalism can be a bit much. Who wants products constantly shoved at them?
Luckily, we have bazaars. You have access to awesome products in a marketplace setting. It's a lot calmer and it's just a much better way to shop, in my opinion.
Montreal is going to host a vintage bazaar this April! This is the perfect spot to have a relaxing shopping experience where you can even bargain a little.
Bazaar "Les Intemporelles de Villeray" is back for its fifth edition next month. It's vintage and local theme is sure to please.
Come check out local artists and merchants for some products that you just can't get anywhere else.
This year, the opening hours are:
Saturday, April 7th from 9a.m to 5p.m
Sunday, April 8th from 10a.m to 5p.m
It will be located at the Centre de Loisirs Communautaires Lajeneusse at
7378, rue Lajeunesse. Access is super easy too! There's free parking in back and it's only a five-minute walk from Jean-Talon metro.
