The thing I love the most about Montreal, and I'm willing to bet most other Montrealers agree, is that we are so culturally diverse.
Not only is Montreal diverse culturally, but the city and it's communities are always celebrating that diversity.
That said, festival season is upon us. And when it comes to festivals in Montreal food plays a major part in bringing people together for the festivities.
This June we have some great food festivals coming up, for example, Jerk Chicken festival and the "Taste of The Carribean" festival. And of course - Saint-Laurent street fair is coming up soon and you will have all sorts of food stands and kiosks specializing in roasted Portuguese chicken and polish sausage sandwiches.
In July, another food and street fair will be held in the Plateau, this time it's the Montreal Festival of India.
On July 7th and 8th at Jeanne Mance Park, this festival will be held and will include a free vegetarian feast, yoga workshops, stage program, kids corner, souvenir kiosk, and much more!
Sounds like a great time, and also the perfect type of place to bring the whole family to enjoy the festivities.
