Brunch: it's not quite breakfast, it's not quite lunch, but it comes with a slice of cantaloupe at the end, and it's delicious. (We're now officially friends if you caught that reference, btw).
In fact, I'd go even further and say that much more than just being delicious, brunch is pretty much the best meal of the day.
It has all the energizing power of breakfast, with the hunger-relieving happiness of lunch. Plus, you know, some really, really awesome food.
The only issue I have with brunch is that there's not an unlimited amount of brunch food available to me at all times.
But one Montreal restaurant is aiming to fix that problem.
Le Gras Dur (1660 Rue Jarry E), who also host all-you-can-eat poutine and chicken wing nights throughout the week, are bringing us all-you-can-eat brunch.
On Saturdays and Sundays, for a flat rate of $25, you can nosh on a buffet of bacon, sausages, eggs, ham, potatoes, and much, much more. And as much of it as you want.
The restaurant also offers a glass of champagne, mimosa, and specialty coffee included in their brunch for $31.
