Maybe the greatest invention since Sriracha has just surfaced: the 24-hour cupcake ATM.

Tuesday marked the opening of the very first baked good dispensing machine in the Upper East side of Manhattan. The machine can hold 760 cupcakes, of four different flavours, and it works basically like a vending machine.

I know what you're all thinking: Montreal NEEDS one of these.

Here is how we think it would work:

  • Location: 24 hour gas-Tim Hortons on St. Laurent & Sherbrooke
  • Cupcake Supplier: Les Glaceurs
  • Flavours: Red Velvet, Double Chocolate, Maple-Bacon, Classic Vanilla

Large enough to house a cupcake ATM. already open all night, and a hub of activity no matter the time, the Esso-Marche Express is the perfect venue. Les Glaceurs is a big enough bakery to meet the demand that will definitely come about when this cupcake ATM opens, and the flavours are just generally delicious to everyone. Especially maple-bacon.

And in case you didn't know how to eat a cupcake, let Liz Lemon break it down for you.
