One of the most beautiful shows in the world is coming to Montreal - and the rest of the northern hemisphere - this month. The annual Geminid meteor shower will be seen once again over Montreal during the month of Decemeber!

This show is going to be a massive natural fireworks performance, which will begin this slowly this week, and peak on the nights of December 13th and 14th.

If you drive up to the Laurentians, that's a whole other story. The best show in town will be visible from the up north.
In the clear evening skies of the country, it's estimated that you will be able to see up to 120 shooting stars per hour.
The Geminid is considered one of the most powerful and reliable meteor showers around. And according to earthsky.org it's most powerful in the late evening, around 2 a.m.
