Shutdown On Three STM Metro Lines In Montreal Because Of An "Emergency" Situation
Only the Blue line is operational.
According to the STM service updates website, service on sections of three metro lines is currently interrupted.
An "intervention by emergency services" is the cause. There are few other details.
TLDR: Sections of the Green, Orange, and Yellow lines are down because of an intervention by emergency services. Service is so far projected to resume at 1:45 PM.
The Green line is down between Lionel-Groulx and Pie-IX.
The Orange line is down between Bonaventure and Beaubien.
The entire Yellow line is not operational.
Given the extent of the shutdown, the intervention by emergency services is probably at Berri-UQAM.
The STM is also tweeting about the incident.
