Quebec's Guinness World Record Titles

We're simply the best

There are so many Guinness World Records out there, ranging from the truly awesome to the slightly ridiculous. Case in point: there's a Guinness World Record for "Fastest 30m on a scooter by a dog."

The Guinness World Records website is filled with other such strange and wonderful content. Out of curiosity, I filtered through Quebec world records. And I found some truly fantastic entries that really speak to who we are as a province.

Below you can find a compilation of records that'll make you say, "yeah, that sounds about right. Of course this record is held in Quebec."

TL;DR: Below find a compilation of the most Quebec Guinness World Recods.

Most Exclamation Marks In A Town Name

Where: Saint-Louis-du-Ha!-Ha!

What: Exclamations may not seem like the most Quebecer thing ever, but the story behind this town name is fantastic. Though some towns have used exclamations in their name before to draw publicity, the "ha!ha!" in Saint-Louis-du-Ha!-Ha! comes from an old Quebec saying. "Haha" refers to a landscape feature that creates or acts as an invisible boundary line, most probably in this case the nearby Lake Témiscouata. Amazing.
