Luckily, help is available. Online websites and tax clinics can help you through the complicated process. One such clinic is happening next weekend at Concordia's John Molson School of Business, and it's totally free!

A group at the John Molson School of Business is offering a FREE tax clinic next weekend, from Saturday, March 9 to Sunday, March 10. The tax clinic will be run by Concordia’s John Molson Accounting Society.
All you need to do is make sure you are eligible to receive help: check their elligibility requirements on their website, and make sure you have the appropriate documents with you.
To be eligible, you need to be a resident of Quebec for tax purposes, and earn less than $25,000 per year as an inidvidual or less than $30,000 as a couple or individual with a dependent. Your income from interest and investment must be less than $1,000.
You are ineligible if you are filing for someone who is deceased, if you're bankrupt, self-employed, have capital gains or losses, or are filing for rental income or foreign income.

The clinic is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, and is on a first-come, first-serve basis, so make sure you get there early!
