Montreal is a place where you rarely get to say: "Hey guys, let's go to the beach." But thankfully that's about to change because Clock Tower Beach is opening back up in the Old Port starting May 30th.
So when you get overwhelmed with the stress of living in the city you can escape to the beach and pretend you're on vacation, unless you're already on vacation in which case you can pretend you're on a better vacation. And if laying in the sand surrounded by families with screaming children isn't your thing, you can head to the restaurant for some drinks or to grab a bite to eat. Then later on, you can make your way to the beach after 5 pm when access will be reserved to adults 18 years and over.
Clock Tower beach will be open from 11 am to 9 pm on Saturdays and Sundays from May 30th to June 19th. Starting June 20th until September 7th the beach will be open Monday to Wednesday from am to 5pm and Thursday to Sunday from 11 am to 9 pm.
Tickets cost only $2 for and it's free for children 13 and under or you can buy a season pass for $15.
