Let's be real here, we all know Japan is one of the coolest countries in the world. It's bright, vibrant, and oh so very fun. Not to mention the people are awesome, the food is delicious, and their history is rich with culture.
So it makes sense that Montreal would hold a festival in their honour. On August 15th, the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre will be hosting the 14th annual Matsuri Japon Festival.
The activities start at 11AM, which will include lots of dancing, archery lessons, martial arts training and so much more. Also, a lot of the guests are planning on wearing cosplay of their favourite Japanese characters. AND if you're interested in volunteering, they're looking for people to help out with the event.
