If you're anything like me, then you're totally obsessed with oysters. Well, all seafood, actually - because honestly, if I could live off of only one type of food always and forever, it would totally be seafood.
Which is why, whenever Montreal gets together in celebration of the world's tastiest foods, I get super happy. So you can only imagine my excitement when I learned about Montreal's Oysterfest.
Taking place at Terrasses Bonsecours (364 Rue de la Commune East), this year's 8th annual Oysterfest will feature good vibes, and some seriously awesome food. The event is described as featuring some of Montreal's absolute best chefs, and their lineup sounds incredible.
This year's lineup includes Notkins, Park, Mercuri, Flyjin, Grinder, and many, many more awesome spots.
The festival will also include plating and shucking competitions, live music, drinks, and tons of other awesome stuff, all in celebration of the oyster... And other tasty seafood dishes, too.
Oysterfest is going down this year on September 11. Tickets are going on sale soon and start at $40 if you get them early enough - but click here for more information on how to get tickets.
