Guys, we did it. We actually did it. We made it through Montreal's harsh winter. Summer is finally here!
I don't know about you, but I'm super excited to finally get to drink on a terrasse, admire Montreal's beautiful street art, bake in the sun, and just generally enjoy my life.
And if you guys love living your best summer lives too, then I've got some good news for you. One Montreal street is making that a whole lot easier to do.
This year, from May 5 until September 26, Montreal's Sainte-Catherine street will be putting up their famous Boules Rose art installation for the fifth year in a row.
Those of us who have been for a stroll under these gorgeous, colourful balls know just how mezmerising the experience can be. Those of us not in the know? No worries. The installation spans for 1KM, between Papineau and St-Hubert, and is up for pretty much the whole summer.
That's not all there is to it, though. The street will be closed off to cars, as a kind of pedestrian summertime paradise; and, as an added bonus, most (if not all) restaurants on the street whip out their terrasses, to make for one awesome Montreal summer destination.
