Montreal's Vanessa Grimaldi, Winner Of "The Bachelor" Has a New Boyfriend

I guess love doesn't always last.

If you don't watch The Bachelor then you should 100% get on it. I can't quite explain what is so damn entertaining about it, but it just hooks you and once you're in, you're in for good.

No joke, in high school, one of my teachers would spend a good 20 minutes at the beginning of each class going through the most recent episodes with us. It was definitely my favorite part of the day (and I'm sure it was hers too). It's just so fun to talk about!

Televising love has its pros and cons. You can never really know if what you're watching is genuine, but that's part of the fun. You get to pick out the good actors and the bad ones. And see which of the girls is actually being herself.

So many of us fell in love with Vanessa Grimaldi, winner of season 21. She's from Montreal after all! She and Nick Viall fell for each other on the show and were actually engaged on the finale of the season which aired in March 2017. But just six short months later, they broke up! How heartbreaking!

For many, this was actually some exciting news because it meant that Ms. Grimaldi was open for business again. But that short window has come to an end. She's taken again!

The 30-year-old star has revealed that she has a new beau. On Tuesday, April 24, 2018, she appeared on  Dean Unglert’s “Help! I Suck At Dating” podcast and she said that her mysterious new boyfriend is someone that she actually knew before the show.

So I guess she didn't really need The Bachelor to help her with her love life after all. She could've not gone on the show and still found her soulmate. Well, I guess we'll have to wait and see if this one lasts.

It was really sad to see Nick and Vanessa end it, but they did what they had to do to be happy. It just wasn't working out. Fairy tale ending or not, that's what you have to do to make sure that you live your best life. And it's not like he's all alone and heartbroken over the news. He's dating too.
