Last year Nintendo announced they were finally selling the Nintendo Entertainment System: Classic Edition in Canada. The only problem is that they sold out within hours of becoming available and just like that, the dream of owning one died.
Canadians who were desperate enough to buy one, were still able to get them from third-party sellers online, although the prices had been jacked-up significantly. It was either that or you had to road trip to the the U.S., and even then there was no guarantee you'd walk away with one since supplies were very limited.
But now Nintendo Canada has finally announced when they will be releasing the NES: Classic Edition Edition in Canada.
The announcement was made on Twitter only a few hours ago, and according Nintendo Canada's website, the NES Classic Edition will return on June 29, 2018.
But that's not all, unlike the previous release, this time Nintendo says they're releasing enough consoles so that they will be available until the end of the year.
