The truck's driver, a 29-year-old man, has been charged with careless driving.

An officer inside the cruiser escaped without injury.

According to officials, the truck lost control and jackknifed, leading to the collision.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officials say that officers responded almost immediately after hearing of the collision.

Upon arriving on the scene, OPP personnel parked behind the crash site with their emergency lights activated.

The incident took place around the town of Napanee, Ontario.

Perhaps, the driver was unable to handle the superior quality of roads in Ontario.

Either way, being situated near Quebec can have the side effect of occasionally encountering careless Quebec drivers on your roads.

It must have been a sight to behold.
