If you're a girl who can't wear high heels, you won't be working the Montreal Grand Prix this summer.
A job advertisement posted online by recruiters for Montreal's Grand Prix makes some startlingly specific requirements for any female employee, including "looking elegant, chic, and classic" along with being able to rock heels for hours.
Procured by CJAD, the job ad has understandably ruffled some female feathers. The president of the Quebec Council on the Status of Women Julie Miville-Dechêne views the ad as a blatant example of sexism and the objectification of women in general.
