March 13th 2012, one week removed from student vs Montreal police officers which left many beaten and badly bruised, the youth took back the streets this Tuesday afternoon to protest the Charest governments "debatable" plan to almost double tuition leading up to 2017.
The front was organized by the "Coalition large de l'Association pour une solidarite syndicale etudiante", students numbered in the hundreds met at Square Victoria at 1 p.m and followed to march through the downtown Streets.
When the clock struck 4 pm the protest had reached Concordia University near the Omni Hotel.
The crowd was finally dispersed by the police into a non functioning crowd not long after.
Nearly 200,000 students will most likely be expected to march on March 22nd, not two days after Finance Minister Raymond Bachand puts forward the province's next budget.
