Alright, straight-up, I just want to say that I'm not looking to get into any language debates. Everyone has their own opinion, and that's cool. It's all good.

I will, however, say that I am all for inclusiveness. I think it's important that everyone - whether they speak French, English, or both - is included as much as possible, and things are as fair as they can be.

Which was why I was super glad, personally, to hear that Subways in Montreal are turning their all-French menus bilingual, according to The Suburban.

At the moment, three Subways have made the menu switch: One downtown, one on Decarie and Jean Talon, and one on Cavendish.

It is very possible that more will make the change, since the option to include both English and French on the menu is now up to franchise owners.

No matter what your stance is on the language issue, I think (hope) we can all agree that incorporating both English and French is a pretty awesome thing. Smooth move, Subway. Smooth move.
