Montreal is not known for luxury.
On the contrary, the city is famous as a bastion of affordability on a largely unaffordable continent.
Comparable cities across North America – Toronto, Vancouver, Boston, Miami, San Francisco – are wildly expensive.
In those urban areas, luxury amenities have come to displace accessible services.
Montreal, on the other hand, maintains a certain acclectic, rustic charm that makes it truly unique in its class.
So when conspicuous demonstrations of luxury come to Quebec, people take notice.
One product in particular grabs local attention: luxury vehicles.
Few would risk driving a true treasure on Quebec's notoriously hazardous roads. Maybe that's part of the reason people love seeing them so much.
This week, a collector in Quebec announced that he had purchased a super rare Bugatti Chiron. His Facebook post has since garnered thousands of likes and almost one hundred shares.
According to Business Insider, the Chiron goes for upwards of $3,000,000!
Bugatti proudly states on its website that, with 16 cylinders and 1,500 horsepower, the car can reach 500km/hour.
The collector has not indicated exactly where and how he plans to use his Chiron.
Such a car would be best stored behind museum glass. It certainly could not suffer winter weather (or spring, for fall, for that matter) in Quebec.
Keep your eye out for this car on the streets!
