For anyone out there who drives in Montreal, you know that this is the time of year where you're least likely to get a ticket.
Those annoying parking restrictions for street cleaning are no longer in effect so you never have to worry about moving your car from one side of the street to the other.
And now that the snow is about start falling you'll be able to park your car in ways that would normally get you towed:
But there's another thing you'll no longer need to worry about. Snow removal.
Normally, during snow removal operations, finding a parking spot can be impossible. The few available spots are taken by snowbanks, and the rest can't be taken because there's a plow on the way.
Luckily the city of Montreal is making over 2000 free parking spots available for those who want to avoid getting towed.
The spots are located in 21 different parking lots throughout the city, and you can find them all with the city's parking app.
