For years, sport utility vehicles were the ones most likely to be stolen. But this year, it looks like SUVs are no longer the favorite target for car thieves.
The Issurance Bureau of Canada has just released their stats of the vehicles most likely to be stolen in 2017.
Surprisingly, 4 of the top 10 vehicle were actually pickup trucks.

Never leave your car running unattended
Park in well-lit areas
Roll up the car windows and lock the doors when parking
Put valuables or packages in the trunk, out of sight
Park your car in the garage at night
Don't leave personal information in the glove compartment
Keep the Registration Certificate and proof of insurance with you after parking the car
