There's A Real-Life "Pirate Ship" In Montreal's Old Port Right Now And You Gotta Go See It (Photos)

Something new and fun to discover.

Even though I've lived in Montreal for my whole life, this city continues to surprise me every single day. Case in point: right now, there's a legit, real life, historical AF ship docked at the Old Port.

The Nave Amerigo Vespucci, built in 1931, is usually used in training the students of Italy's Accademia di Livorno, but it's been making its rounds in Canada. 

It'll be docked in Montreal's Quay Alexandra in the Old Port until July 1. You can go explore it for free on June 23 from 10:30 -12:00, June 24 from 4:00 - 6:30, June 29 from 10:30 - 12:00, June 30 from 10:30 - 12:00, and July 1 from 2:30 - 6:30.
