Yesterday, the city of Montreal announced that they are going to be expanding the free Wi-Fi network in more parts of the city, starting with the tourist areas. 

The city is planning on installing more Wi-Fi stations around the the city and boosting the power of the existing ones.

These are the new areas that will be connected:

  • Centre-ville de Montréal

  •  Quartier des spectacles

  • Quartier de l'innovation

  • Parc Jeanne Mance

Here is the map of all the areas where you can connect to MTLWiFi

Montreal wanted to create a simple uniform connection, and you can find all the exact Wi-Fi station locations right here.

But in case you have any trouble connecting to MTLWiFi, you can call technical support Monday to Friday From 8:30 am to 8:30 pm, and on weekends from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at 514 MTL-WIFI (514 685-9434)
