If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times: Montreal has some of the best cuisine, hands down.
If you're a Montrealer, then you know what I'm talking about. We're honestly a pretty culturally rich metropolis, and that comes to life in our food. Almost any cuisine you want, we've got - and it's amazing, to boot.
And although it's always nice to know, intrinsically, that our food is awesome, it's always great when this fact gets publicly acknowledged.
Like, for example, in Conde Nast Traveller, which has listed out some of the best restaurants in nearly every country.
Canada's #1 standout for the best restaurant in this world ranking? Liverpool House (2501 Rue Notre-Dame O). Yasss, Liverpool House. Yasssss.
Rounding out the list for Canadian picks is Quebec's Au Pied De Cochon Sugar Shack (11382 Rang de la Fresnière, St Benoit de Mirabel, QC J7N 2R9).
The rankings in this list are based on the opinions of chefs, travellers, and food writers.
