With strong brand values of family and community, it's not a big surprise that Tim Hortons makes an extra effort to be festive during the holidays.
TL;DR Tim Horton's just released its new holiday menu of baked goods and drinks. Have a look at this year's brand new Christmas treats and flavours.
They aren't the only ones, though. All the big coffee chains roll out holiday-themed cups and menu items. It's all about keeping up with the coffee competition.
That said, Tim Hortons holiday menu was just released and it offers some interesting new items.
First off, we have holiday drink cups that feature winter-themed images such as skiers, sleds, and snowmen. Overall, they are appear to be much more holiday-neutral than Starbuck's highly contraversial Christmas-themed cups.
Now, looking at the baked goods menu you can find an assorment of colourful baked goods that actually look very tasty and classic Christmas choices like a sugar cookies.
You can even find a tree-shaped donut at Tim Hortons this holiday season! Now that's creative.
Lastly, Tim Hortons is also introducing some holiday-themed flavoured drinks for a limited-time only, such as the classic candy cane hot chocolate that is also available as white hot chocolate. You know the kids are going to go crazy for the sugar rush from these.
Besides the holiday-day themed menu, Tim Hortons also introduced something that Canadians have never seen before: a kids menu!
They're calling them "Timmies Mini Packs" which come with a variety of options such as chicken fingers and apple slices. I guess this is a healthier alternative to other kids' meals from fast food companies.
Although we sometimes give Tim Hortons a hard time for their clumsy efforts at keeping up with the fast food competition, they will always have a special place in the hearts of Canadians and I'm sure this holiday menu will be appreciated by customers everywhere.
