Montreal's weather is certainly living up to it's reputation lately.

We had a heatwave followed by non-stop rain followed by some very muggy weather, and this morning, the air just feels sticky and scarce.

Classic Montreal...

Well, I have some good news and some bad news.

The good news is that it's about to get a loss less humid.

And the bad news is that before this happens, we're going to have to put up with some rain. A lot of rain.

Enough rain that Environment Canada has issued a rainfall and possible flash flood alert this morning.

As we all know, it doesn't take much rain to cause a flood in Montreal. Especially beneath overpasses.

A low pressure system moving across Quebec will drop up to 70 mm of rain starting later today.

This could cause flash floods in low lying areas and a lot of water accumulation on the roads.

Be careful out there.
