Last night what looked like a light dusting at first, ended up turning into a 10 cm snowstorm.
Bad news for all the people who took off their winter tires.
And as if that wasn't bad enough, the real problem has only just begun.
All that snow is melting quickly and there's a lot of rain on the way. To make matters worse, the ground is frozen which means it cannot adsorb rainfall as quickly.
According to the weather network: "Localized flooding in low lying areas is possible." And since our underpasses are notorious for flooding even under normal conditions, this is likely to cause a few traffic headaches later on.
I thought March was supposed to be the unpredictable month, but I guess April is going to be toying with us as well.
