Everyone living in Montreal should brace themselves because the next few days are going to be pretty horrible in terms of weather.

Yesterday, Environment Canada issued a heat warning that is in effect for the Montreal area. And this morning, that warning has been extended until at least Wednesday evening.

The temperatures and humidity will combine to make the humidex reach between 35°C and 38°C, and temperatures are expected to remain above 20°C overnight.

To make things worse, Montreal will be hit with 5 straights days of thunderstorms!

Today there is an 80% chance of rain and a risk of thunderstorm, and sadly the forecast is offering up pretty much the same exact thing from now until Saturday.

You would think that the rain and thunderstorms would at least help the temperature go down a bit, but somehow they will be combining forces with the heat to ruin pretty much all the plans you may have had this week.

Remember to be safe and to check in with your loved ones, especially if they live alone without air conditioning.
