At 4:53 AM EST on Thursday morning, Environment Canada has issued a special weather warning for pretty much all of Southern Quebec.
It's not often that Environment Canada starts a warning off with: "Snow is knocking on the door!" so this probably isn't a warning we should be ignoring.
TL;DR Environement Canada is warning that Quebec is going to be hit with 15 to 25 cm of snow beginning on Friday afternnon.
A major pressure system is going to be dumping a ton of snow on several Quebec regions starting Friday afternoon.
All the areas located North of the St. Lawrence River are expecting between 10 to 15 centimetres of snow
Central and Eastern Quebec are expecting even more, between 15 to 25 centimetres!
But that's not all, we will also be hit with high winds of up to 90 kilometres per hour which is sure to make life miserable for everyone this weekend.
Environment Canada are asking people to please consider modifying non-essential travel plans.
