You'd better be careful out there this holiday weekend if you're planning on doing any driving (or walking for that matter), because the roads conditions are going to be absolutely horrible.
Environment Canada has issued a High Alert for the Montreal area.
There is a 90% chance of seeing freezing rain beginning on Saturday, followed by ice pellets.
And if that wasn't bad enough, there are going to be flurries before the rain begins and another 5-10 cm of snow after the rain and ice pellets have covered the city.
The combination of the two is sure to cause chaos of nightmarish proportions on the roads, so do yourself a favor and plan ahead.
