Environment Canada Has Issued An Extreme -38°C Cold Warning Across Quebec
Dangerously cold temperatures!
The holidays are officially over and it's time to get back to work. Unfortunately the weather isn't going to take it easy on us. Environment Canada has issued an extreme -38°C cold warning across Quebec this morning so you'd better bundle up because it's going to be brutal.
How brutal? Let's just say that the top 5 coldest places on the planet right now are all located in Canada.
This morning it feels like -19°C in Montreal and that's actually pretty pleasant compared to other parts of the province.
Many areas in South and Northern Quebec are going to be hit extreme cold temperatures and wind chills of up to -38°C!
Some areas are already feeling the cold this morning, however others will only be hit by the cold temperatures overnight.

They are also reminding the public that when temperatures get so low, you need to make sure to cover up because frostbite can develop within minutes on exposed skin.
