Most of Quebec has been stuck in a long period of extremely cold temperatures lately and as if that wasn't bad enough, the snow just won't stop falling! Luckily for us the weather is about to warm up dramatically over the next few days. But unfortunately the warmer weather will come at a price.

The province of Quebec is expecting a warm front that's going to push temperatures up to 3°C in Montreal and Quebec City. We’re also expecting a band of freezing rain that's going to start in Montreal tonight and slowly move East across Quebec.

TL;DR Freezing rain will begin this evening near Montreal and slowly most East across Quebec. 

Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning at 4:22 am this morning for most of Southern Quebec.

And as if that wasn't bad enough, according to The Weather Network the heavy rain and the accelerated snow melt may cause flooding in some areas. Shortly after that, the temperatures will quickly drop again which should create will likely create treacherous driving condition for the end of the week.
