Officially Official: Team Canada 2014 Olympic Hockey Jerseys Have Been Revealed

Just to get you even more excited about hockey, Team Canada released the hockey jerseys Sidney Crosby and the boys will be wearing when they hit the ice this winter in Sochi this morning at Maple Leaf Garden in Toronto. The jerseys don’t really come as much of a surprise to fans as they look like the designs that were leaked earlier this year.
People seem to really hate this jersey; Twitter has been blowing up since it was released about how they jerseys are “atrocious.” To be totally honest with you, I kind of like these jerseys. A majestic maple leaf in the center of the jersey, silhouetted by the opposite color. It definitely looks better than the 2010 Canadian hockey jersey. On those jerseys the outlined leaf looked cheap and strangely alone floating in the middle of the shirt. The 2014 Olympic jerseys look like the beautiful Canadian flag imprinted on a jersey.
These new jerseys, designed by Nike, are supposed to be 15% lighter and enhance mobility and play for athletes this year.
Do you like the new Team Canada Olympic hockey jerseys? Or are you gonna stick with your 2010 Vancouver Olypics sweater? Let us know in the comments?
