One Of The "Best Zombie Movies Of All Time" Is On Netflix Canada

I've had a soft spot for zombie apocalypse movies ever since I saw 28 Days Later at the tender age of 14.

I know this might come across a little twisted, but there's something so exhilarating about watching flesh-hungry living dead hunt and feast on humans.  Because unlike other common horror movie genres like exorcisms, slashers,  hauntings, zombie apocalypse films always seem like the most plausible to me.

That said, many of the most entertaining and well-made horror and thriller films are actually foreign-made. Train To Busan is no exception.

This 2016 Korean-made film was actually the highest grossing film in all of Korea in 2016. It also became the highest-grossing Korean film in Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

The movie is now available to watch on Netflix in Canada and it's a must-see for anyone who loves anything in the world of suspense, zombie, and thriller genre.

In short, this film takes you on a non-stop nail-biting ride as a mysterious infection that turns those who have been afflicted into brainless flesh-hungry monsters rips through a high-speed train headed to the city of Busan Korea.

This isn't just a gore for gore horror thriller, though. Over the course of this 2-hour film, you actually get to know these nuanced characters, so much that you'll literally be cheering by the end of the film.

There is no shortage of action either. This film is packed with heart-pumping high-energy zombie fights and is also paced with slower scenes of the survivors planning their escape. This is where we really get to know the characters.

Almost the entire film is confined to the train, making this film all the more terrifying. We see characters frantically scrolling through their social media and internet news watching this mysterious infection ravage the country within a matter of hours as they sit helplessly on the train.

If you're not already convinced to check out this movie, Train To Busan received 98% on Rotten Tomatoes, just a little more reason to watch it and get into the Halloween mood. Check out the trailer!
