Bikini-clad supermodels, A-list celebrities and performers, luxury amenities on exclusive tropical beaches, these are just some of the things that festival goers were promised at the Fyre Festival, AKA "the greatest festival that never happened."

The case study of #FyreFestival is one of the most fascinating examples to study as a marketer. On one, dishonest marketing was the catalyst in destroying the festival. But on the other...they built the entire festival on good marketing. That shit is powerful.
