Much like you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, or a person by their appearance, you shouldn't form an opinion on the beauty of a home solely be seeing the exterior. A house can look quaint an unassuming on the outside, while being the epitome of modern design within. Le 205 by Atelier Moderno is a prime example.
From a passersby's perspective, Le 205 looks like a rather old worn industrial building in the Mile-Ex area of the city. The 1950's structure itself hasn't been changed, but again, it's on the inside that counts.
Taking some inspiration from the building's old-school origins, the interior of Le 205 is almost industrial-chic, with grey, black, and steel fixtures seen throughout the abode. Wood and brighter colours add a warm flair, which also serves to accentuate the natural light the home recieves from the windows on its four sides.
From kitchen, to living room, to bathroom, Le 205 is simultaneously sleek and inviting. Take a stroll through the home via the photos below, courtesy of Atelier Moderno.
