A living space that you can also work in is probably the ideal of any young professional. No need to get up extra early to make it to work, since you're already there. Perfect for groggy Friday mornings (#ThirstyThursday) you might not think an house-office hybrid would be completely functional, but NatureHumaine proves it can be done.
Transforming two stories of 1920s duplex into a 3-bedroom home equipped with an office, NatureHumaine created the Chambord Residence. Major renovations went into the back area of the house, which definitely paid off, because the back-facing facade looks beautiful, and the deck is pretty swanky too.
Transparency was a focus on the exterior and interior design, an aesthetic goal definitely accomplished. The open spaces, light colours and materials, along with the abundance of natural light give the Chambord Residence an inviting vibe while still seeming formal, like any good office/house should. Check it out below.
