Police Have Arrested A Suspect After The Mass Shooting In Canada

This is the second mass shooting in Canada within a month.

Four people are dead after the latest mass shooting in Canada.

In the early morning of Friday August 10th, police in Fredericton, New Brunswick responded to reports of gunfire on Brookside Drive.

Please continue to avoid the area of Brookside Drive between Main and Ring Road. An incident has resulted in at least four people killed. More information will be available when we can confirm.

The identities of the deceased have not been released. But the Fredericton police department confirmed moments ago that they have arrested a suspect.

UDPATE: At this time we can confirm that we have one suspect in custody.

Police continue to have the Brookside area contained for the foreseeable future as the investigation is ongoing.
