"President" Donald Trump Finally Reacts To Quebec's Terrorist Attack

President Donald Trump's new immigration ban was announced just two days before the shooting that took place in Quebec city.

And since everyone including the Prime Minister has been referring to it as a terrorist attack, naturally everyone was curious what Trump'as reaction would be.

President Trump called Prime Minister Trudeau on Monday after the attack, and promised that the US would help in any way necessary.

Trump offered his condolences and Trudeau was reportedly very appreciative.

Of course The White House used the attack as way to justify their new immigration policies, even though the shooting was committed by a homegrown terrorist, not an immigrant or a refugee.

White House spokesman Sean Spicer said that:

Here's a video of the press conference.

Trump wasn't the only public figure to comment on the events of Sunday night. Pope Francis met with the archbishop of Quebec and pledged to pray for the victims.

The Vatican also issue a telegram:

Having learned of the attack which occurred in Quebec in a prayer room of the Islamic Cultural Centre, which claimed many victims, His Holiness Pope Francis entrusts to the mercy of God the persons who lost their lives and he associates himself through prayer with the pain of their relatives. He expresses his profound sympathy for the wounded and their families, and to all who contributed to their aid, asking the Lord to bring them comfort and consolation in the ordeal. The Holy Father again strongly condemns the violence that engenders such suffering; and, imploring God for the gift of mutual respect and peace, he invokes upon the sorely tried families, and upon all persons touched by this tragedy, as well as upon all Quebecers, the benefits of the divine Blessing." - Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State of His Holiness
