Gay Rights Activists Pussy Riot Whipped And Beaten Because Of Sochi Olympics

Six group members of Pussy Riot (five women and one man) were violently attacked with horsewhips and pepper spray today by the Russian Cossack militia for performing under a sign advertising the Sochi Winter Olympics.

Donned in their infamous ski masks, Pussy Riot was violently attacked by a group of 10 Russian security officials just as they pulled out a guitar and microphone to perform.

Looks like Putin still has it our for the musical group, as this incident follows their release from prison in December and a recent detaining on Tuesday at the Olympics.

No one was arrested, but the whole scene was incredibly violent. Take a look at the onsite photos below to see how the scene played out.
