This Canyon Coaster In Quebec Lets You Fly Higher Than Niagara Falls Over The Fall Foliage

The video is ridiculous!
This Canyon Coaster In Quebec Lets You Fly Over Fall Foliage Higher Than Niagara Falls
  • Canyon Sainte-Anne is taller than Niagara Falls and worth a Quebec road trip if you want to take in the fall foliage at unbelievable heights.
  • Soar over the magnificent canyon in Charlevoix on the Air Canyon coaster for a ride of your life.
  • Check out the video below!

If you're looking to take Quebec road trip, then in the breathtaking Charlevoix region you can fly through the fall foliage on this unreal canyon coaster called the Air Canyon that soars over Canyon Sainte-Anne.

Sure, we've written about hikes and drives and hot air balloons, but this is one adrenaline-pumping way to see the fall foliage that is really unlike anything else.

Canyon Sainte-Anne is located just North of Beaupré, less than 40 minutes from Québec City. So if you find yourself in that area in the next little while, you may want to carve some time out of your trip to zip through the fall air on the Air Canyon.

New to Montreal?

If you hadn't considered a little roadie à Québec this fall, I'm here to tell ya, it's a great idea. You get to take in the majesty of such beautiful regions in our province and appreciate some pretty storied history once you get there.

Plus, the fall foliage in that area is near peak in some spots, in  others it is actually at peak right now!

This might be hard to believe for some - I know in Montreal we're still waiting for the sweeping fall colours to take over the mountain.

But if you check out the Fall Foliage map below, you'll see that the regions in Quebec that are north and east of Montreal are just about to reach that full peak fall colour explosion.

The Air Canyon soars over Canyon Sainte-Anne, which has a waterfall that reaches 74 metres - taller than Niagara Falls (which is only 51 metres).

You get to ride the Air Canyon both across and then back to the docking station, and you'll want to bring a buddy because it's a ride built for two.

As I mentioned above, the fall foliage really is about to reach it's best moment, so hanging out in the Charlevoix region this weekend or next would be a pretty wise decision.

The dark maroon is foliage at its peak, the bright red is near peak and brown is past peak.

You can see that the region just north of Beaupré, right near Canyon Sainte-Anne, is reaching near peak.

Sounds like there couldn't be a better time to go!
