We can all agree that there's something special about a Quebec music festival, especially when they headline world-famous punk rock activists Pussy Riot. The feminist punk rock group founded in Moscow made waves in 2012 when some of the members went to prison for hooliganism. The group has fought for civil rights, feminist rights, and LGBTQ+ rights in Russia ever since they first began. Pussy Riot headlines the Festival Santa Teresa in Sainte-Thérèse. The festival will take over the sleepy suburb for three days from May 15 to 17.
Located about an hour's drive from Montreal, the Festival Santa Teresa is the perfect appetizer to start this summer's incredible festival season.
Along with Pussy Riot, the festival includes Canadian R&B sensation Daniel Caesar and Belgian rap superstar Roméo Elvis.
The headliners will be joined by some of the biggest up-and-coming names in Quebec's Francophone music scene such as Les Louanges, Choses Sauvages, Juno-nominated Alexandra Stréliski, Claudia Bouvette, Clay & Friends, Bleu Jeans Bleu, and more!
Last year's Festival Santa Teresa was a smash hit and you definitely shouldn't miss out on what's shaping up to be one spring's best music festivals.

The complete festival lineup (seen below) presents an incredible three-day experience of some of the best rock, indie, hip-hop, and dance music this side of Osheaga.
There's a little something for everyone. For instance, certainly expect some kind of shenanigans from Pussy Riot.
If feminist punk rock isn't your thing, the second day of the Festival Santa Teresa will end with the sweet melodies of Daniel Caesar.
And finally, if you're in the mood for an all-out Québécois bash, day three is the place to be!
